Back in January, I started re-building my inspiration folder after being away from icon-making for nearly three years. I grabbed anything pretty because it was about juicing my muse -- but then I learned about this really cool practice of reflecting monthly on the amazing icons being made. I wanted to play, too, but OMG my file of icons was more than 1,000 and had no dates.
I started to try to identify which of them were made in June but...current LJ style trends strongly favor dropping such extraneous info as date posted. I ultimately gave up after several days' work; some makers I have just the last month of work here and some I have probably date back to 2013. No rhyme or reason; it's just whether I got to a maker's journal before giving up.
